Family Expansion and relocation

Well that baby did his thing and came on out, as all babies do. We named him Elijah Zion (a very holy name for an un-holy family lol) and I will post his birth story shortly as he is now 8-ish months old and I am still doing the finishing touches to it. I have discovered that 3rd time around mamas don't get breaks---at all!!

We have just moved into our very own house in San Remo and amidst happy dancing and celebrating we are getting on with the business of being home-learners...ironic considering the school is right on our back fence. Hmmm, yep sometimes when we are outside learning through play we just have to shout out loud about how awesome homeschooling is and hope just one of those teachers hears us. Ha ha ha.

Linkin has had his 4th birthday and has officially become the LEGO master...LEGO has also become my rival due to its potential choking hazard and the general ouchiness it creates underfoot. He has got the potty thing downpat and we are rejoicing one less nappy-clad boy to change.

Akira is awaiting the big number 7 birthday and I must say I am also busting to give him his gift, if only to stop the neverending birthday list updates. He lost his first tooth and mama shed a few tears as did he, but only over the fact that everything good and crunchy became so much more difficult to eat.

Elijah is a speedy little crawler, intent on walking before he turns one. He is devouring lots of yummy extras with his one little toothy peg but still a total booby monster. He has a total admiration for his papa and those boys, oh those boys, they are the source of many giggles.

Papa and I continue to do our thing, although at opposite ends of the coast for most of the day. Planning some big weekend togetherness projects; chicken coop, bit of painting and a certain wee man is hankering for a rabbit hutch....now to break this to the papa ;)
