Scitech on a Saturday
This morning papa announced we should go "somewhere".
"Do you fancy North, South or East?" he said.
I thought most likely South, with visions of soaking myself in the first day of spring sunshine. The kids randomly suggested Scitech and although feeling a bit meh about the idea I hopped on board and decided to be grateful for the interesting day ahead.
Saturday mornings are probably the least favorable time to be at Scitech with a million intense children and parents packed into the place but we played with lots of fun exhibits, managed to catch the Speed exhibit (Formula One racing) and experienced enough that we are keen to go back.
Having learnt from previous outings when to pull the pin with our sensitive little guys we only stayed for a couple of hours. The noise and crowds were beginning to aggravate everyone so we retreated to the car for snacks and home for unwinding.
We didn't take pictures. It just seemed too much with kids and bags and belly to capture any moments. Although the picture above of the kinetic energy machine was a winner with everyone and the dinosaur exhibit was so realistic that Elijah held on tight to papa's hand!
