Here's how homeschooling has looked for us lately
*Plants vs Zombies on ipod/computers/xbox
*Lots of library books and audio tapes~particularly anything in the Horrible Histories area
*A short unit study on insects and a new subscription to the Discovering Bugs magazine
*Swimming EVERYDAY, sometimes twice daily!
*Channeling Martha Stewart and baking up heaps of treats.
*Setting up new netbooks for the boys and using Studyladder until the wee hours
*Plenty of board games. Especially Knowledge and The Amazing Mammoth Hunt
*Cat Physics app
*A trip back east and catching up with their friends and cousins
*LEGO (now we have an enviable stash due to the wedding ;)
*Sharing the laughs with Andy Griffiths books
*Kids club, dodgeball and basketball at the local youth centre
*Sharing the love and working on our karma by passing on our wii to a family in need.
*Bike riding to the park in the early pre-scorching hours and taking advantage of the sprinklers being on!
*Researching our cyclone preparation and making to do lists!!
