Discussions are being had, plans have been drawn up and a scale model built. Now just to construct said Chicken dwelling and purchase chickens happy to lay us yummy eggs.

Our children grew up with chickens, among other small critters as pets, and loved them as much as any child would love a dog or a cat. Did you know that chickens can live as long as a dog?
Our first rooster, a beautiful white bantam, Chook Chook, lived to the ripe old age of ten years!
His wife, Blacky, out-lived him, but her sister Fluffy Brown Feet is still going, despite a crooked beak and not venturing out much. I think she's almost twelve years old now. Not bad!
